Classes and Fees

Semester 1  Starter Package

We are offering the following introductory packages for new students which include: World Moo Duk Kwan Membership, 1 Term of classes, Dobok (Uniform) and Badges.

Mini Dragons: $250                           |                          Gup (once a week): $270                            |                 Gup (twice a week): $350 

Classes run during the school term. There are no official classes over school holidays however Instructors are happy to discuss opportunities for extra training outside of scheduled lessons.  

Membership Fees

The annual membership fee covers a full year membership to Bees Creek Soo Bahk Do, the Australian Soo Bahk Do Federation and World Moo Duk Kwan.  Financial membership is required to be graded within WMDK and includes insurance.   A Partial Year membership is available for students commencing on or after the 1st of July.

Annual Membership: 110$ (210$ for 2 family members, 310$ for 3 family members)

Part Year:         60$       (For new members joining July-December)

Uniform

The only required equipment for training is a clean Dobok (karate style training uniform). There is no mandated manufacture or fabric type, but we ask that the uniform be free from excessive branding. Second hand uniforms from other styles are permitted as long as any badges are removed. Bees Creek Soo Bahk Do has a limited supply of uniforms available for sale.

Mini Dragons

Mondays 5:30-6:15 pm

Catering for children aged between 6 and 10 years, these lessons gives students the opportunity to improve their confidence, self control, balance and co-ordination through age appropriate self defence techniques inspired by Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. 

Fees are paid in advance per term, a 20% discount is applied to subsequent members of the same family attending.

Once a week: 100$ per term(10 Lessons) 180$ for 2 students, 260$ for 3 family members  

Junior Class

Thursdays 5:30-6:30 pm 

Targeted for ages between 9 and 14 year, these lessons introduce students to the structured syllabus of World Moo Duk Kwan Soo Bahk Do  in an encouraging and supportive environment. The Junior Class will take students from 10th (White Belt)  to 6th (Orange belt) Gup. Students reaching 5th Gup (Green Belt) are encouraged to attend the Monday All Ages classes to maintain momentum for advancement.

Senior Class

Thursdays 6:30-7:30 pm (All Ranks)        7:30-8:00pm (Green/Red Belt)

Senior classes are for Adult and Young Adults from 14 years. These classes cater for self motivated students who are keen to learn about and apply the art of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan with other students with a similar attitude.

All Ages Class

Monday 6:30-7:30 pm (All Ranks)        7:30-8:00pm (Green/Red Belt)

The All Ages classes are an opportunity to engage with other students in your Gup level and focus on training in a group. Senior ranked students will be able to support new students and in turn received targeted instruction in the Green/Red belt session.

Training Days / Times

Gup training covers student levels from beginner (10th gup) to provisional Dan (1st Gup) and are open to all ages from 10 upwards. 

Whilst we offer once a week training for all students, Green and Red belt students will need to commit to twice weekly lessons if they wish to progress to higher levels.

Mondays

6:30-7:30pm - Open Dojang, all ranks and ages

7:30-8:00pm  -  Green/Red Belt class (all ages)

Thursday

5:30-6:30pm - Junior Class (8-13yo )

6:30-7:30pm  - Seniors (14+, all ranks) 

7:30-8:00pm - Green/Red Belt class (14+)

Once a week: 115$ per term(10 Lessons) 207$ for 2 family members, 299$ for 3 family members

Twice a week: 200$ per term(20 Lessons) 360$ for 2 family members, 520$ for 3 family members

How often should I be training? Everyone is different, but as a rule of thumb minimum training each week is -
White-Orange Belt 1-2 times a week. Green Belts: 2 times a week. Red Belts: 3 times a week
